Dr. Dongzhou Huang has over 40 years of extensive bridge expertise in the design, analysis, and construction of different types of long span and complex bridges, including span-by-span constructed segmental bridges, precast and cast-in-place cantilever segmental bridges, cable-stayed bridges, arch bridges, spliced concrete I-girder bridges, curved steel I-girder, box girder and trussed bridges.

Dr. Huang has been a professor and visiting professor at Tongji University, Fuzhou University and Florida International University for more than 20 years and has both solid foundation of bridge design theory and rich practical design experience. He has published more than 100 technical papers and books on bridge design, dynamic and stability analysis, practical analysis methods, prestressed concrete box girder crack investigation, bridge impact factors, bridge load distribution, capacity evaluations of different types of bridges, including box girder, curved girder, cable-stayed, truss, arch bridges and bascule bridges.

Dr. Huang is an editor/board member of Journal of Structural Engineering International, IABSE and former associate editor of Journal of Bridge Engineering, ASCE. He is a fellow of IABSE and a member of the Standing Committee on Concrete Bridges, Transportation Research Board (TRB), the National Academies.

Yicheng Huang brings to ABEC multi-decade experience in Structural Engineering and Software Engineering, having obtained degrees and training in both disciplines. A graduate of University of South Florida and Stanford University, Yicheng has led the structural design efforts on multiple public infrastructure projects. He has also developed analysis and design software for both production and research environments.
