As part of a previous employer's team, responsible for reviewing bridge plans and checking the calculations, providing quality control (QC) services and construction services. The interchange bridges included several high-level truck ramps. Span-by-span and balanced cantilever segmental construction methods were utilized on this project. The single box concrete segmental bridges have a total length of apprximately 20,000 feet, with a minimum radius of about 660 feet. The maximum span length for balanced cantilever construction is 258 ft and typical span length for span-by-span construction is 149 feet. The construction cost is approximately $500 million.
