As part of a previous employer's team, responsible for QC of the bridge/gusset plate load rating analysis and evaluation. Effort includes extending evaluation into refined methods including use of non-linear finite buckling analysis, thus a more reasonable load rating was obtained to avoid unnecessary retrofitting of the bridge. Constructed in 1953, the main/channel bridge is 6-span cantilevered through truss span structure carrying four lanes of traffic.
