We reviewed bridge plans and checked calculations and provided quality control (QC) services for a four-span single-point urban interchange (SPUI) on a curved alignment using steel boxes. The bridge is 911 feet long with the following spans: 150 feet, 261 feet, 276 feet, and 224 feet. The spans are supported by six curved box girders, the ends of which are dapped and supported on inverted T-caps with three columns. Estimated construction cost for this project was $50 million.
